ABOUT

After leaving art college I worked in Warwickshire as a potters technician for many years and learned skills I didn't know I had until reviving them over 20 years later.
I loved running the bi-annual exhibition gallery and seeking out new artists, sculptors and ceramicists; creators from all over Britain but mostly Cornwall. It was a favourite trip for us all to clamber into the ancient Landrover and explore the tiny country lanes, collecting a variety of art and crafts along the way.
These journeys taught me to love the Cornish landscapes, its wild countryside, tight communities and the sea. After a varied life of family and career, I find myself back in Cornwall and now call it home. This is where my inspiration lies.
I am lucky enough to live on the Isles of Scilly with white sands, turquoise waters, weather of all kinds, sea swimming, gig rowing and for me especially painting and pottery.
